With 25,000 participants in the US, and an average of 1 death per year, pole vaulting has the highest death rate per participant of any sport, earning its reputation as “the most dangerous sport” according to the American Journal of Sports Medicine. The Florida Pole Vault Academy has been working to provide a safe environment for youth athletes to learn to pole vault correctly and safely with help from a professional coach in the Tampa Florida area. Almost all Florida high school track & field teams compete in the pole vault, however very few teams have a knowledgeable pole vault coach to instruct athletes on the proper safe technique. This is why the Florida Pole Vault Academy was formed.
OUR MISSION
The Florida Pole Vault Academy is a non-profit organization sponsored by Leidel Fitness, created to provide free coaching of pole vault safety and proper coaching of pole vault technique to un-coached or under-coached youth, and to provide pole vault equipment to schools in need.Dear Potential Sponsors,
Our organization has many costs
associated with its operation, including the cost of funding safety clinics, participation
in competitions, maintaining membership in club associations, and equipment
costs. We are happy to offer you the opportunity to become a valuable sponsor
of the Florida Pole Vault Academy and hope that you take serious consideration
of our cause. The sponsors are asked to provide a financial contribution of
$500 to be a primary sponsor, $250 for full sponsorship, $125 for
half sponsorship, or $50 for partial sponsorship. In return, we will include your logo on our banner displayed at all events and all members of the
Florida Pole Vault Academy will wear a t-shirt that has all primary and full
sponsors’ logos on it. These t-shirts will be used during all competitions and
events where our athletes will participate. All sponsors will enjoy the benefit
of having information about and a link to your business on our website and we
will happily distribute your promotional material to our members and their parents.
